Linux Environment[edit]
To write a text you can chose mainly between:
- OpenOffice word processor
To deal with references you can use:
- JabRef program for Latex (http://jabref.sourceforge.net/).
- You could try to use the OpenOffice bibliographies: http://www.tutorialsforopenoffice.org/tutorial/Bibliographies.html#0.1.Adding%20a%20bibliographic%20entry%7Coutline (don't know if it does work)
Windows Environment[edit]
To write a text you can chose mainly between:
- Microsoft Office.
- You may want to use the OpenOffice word processor instead.
- There are several programs available that allow you to use LaTeX in Windows (i.e. MikTeX), writeLaTeX, some of them with friendly graphical environments.(To learn more http://www.pinteric.com/miktex.html )
To deal with references:
- EndNote program is the Microsoft tool.
