The terminal server is a program that gives you acces to a Windows computer computer Desktop. This allows you to use some software that you don't have in your own computer (Materials Lab, Above Acrobat Professional, Microsoft products, Gauss View, Gaussian, and others).
To have acces into it you will need to have an account (ask Martin for one)
How to get to the terminal server:
from Linux:
rdesktop -g 90% -a15 -u <user> 10.0.7.248
from Windows:
connect to remote desktop
Programs on the Terminal Server
Adobe Acrobat Professional Allows you to create pdf files.
