New trends in Computational Chemistry for Industry Applications
This workshop will be held in Barcelona and will consist on two one-day sessions: material science (May 26th, 2011), and life science (May 27th, 2011).
It is necessary to pre-register by sending an e-mail to Monica Fernandez ( mfernandez@fbg.ub.es), indicating name, position, Company/University and session you would like to assist. Once you have been accepted you will receive an e-mail with the registration form. The acceptance will be done after rigorous order of pre-inscription. Assistants are encouraged to present a poster. If you are interested, please indicate so in the registration e-mail.
Registration fees: XRQTC members: free The registration fee includes access to the workshop, coffee-breaks, lunch and material.
Important dates:
Pre-registration is open 1st December 2010.
Registration will open 1st February 2011 and it will close 15th May.
Poster application will be closed on 15th April.
Cancellations must be made in writting no later than 20th may for a full refund to be issued (less a handling charge of 25 €). After this date no refunds will be available.
“Excited states and non-adiabatic processes in complex systems. Theoretical approaches”, EXCST2011, which will be held in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Girona (Spain) from the 25th to the 27th of July of 2011. This meeting will be a satellite of the Ninth Triennial Congress of the WATOC (World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists), which will be held at Santiago de Compostela (Spain) from the 17th to the 22nd of July of 2011.
Our meeting aims to provide a specialized forum on excited states and non-adiabatic processes.

“Theoretical modeling of materials", a 2011 WATOC satellite meeting. This is a workshop aimed at sharing expertise and strategies in handling inorganic, organic and biomaterials.
This meeting will be held at the University of Barcelona, from 13th July to 15th July, 2011. It is organized by the Institute of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry of the University of Barcelona (IQTC-UB) and the Reference Network on Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (XRQTC).
Registration fee: 200€ (Includes electronic version of abstracts, coffee breaks, buffet lunch on July 14th and beverages at poster session)
