Seminars are announced on our notice board and in the weekly agenda
- Official ICIQ Seminars
Usually there is an ICIQ seminar once a week, although some weeks there is more than one. Information about them is sent by e-mail, you can also check it in the ICIQ web page. Please, have a look at: http://www.iciq.es/portal/Lang!en-US/0/DesktopDefault.aspx Seminar section (left, bottom)
- ICIQ young researchers seminar program
There is a seminar program organized by the young researchers at ICIQ (PhD students and postdocs). The young researchers, propose speakers they would like to invite, then there is an election within each group, then an election within all ICIQ young researchers, and finally the possible speakers are contacted by order of number of votes. If they accept, their visit is arranged, if they can't/don't want to come the next on the list is contacted. Currently there is one representative from each group that was pointed by the group leaders (there were so many volunteers...):
Grup Bo -> ?????
Grup Lopez -> Luca Bellarosa
Grup Maseras -> Maria Besora
If you are willing to collaborate don't hesitate to contact your group representative.
When the elected candidates come to give a talk, young researchers at ICIQ are responsible to organize their travel, their agenda, meet them, introduce them, and go with them to have lunch and dinner.
- Invited seminars
Every now and then group leaders invite researchers to give seminars. Although these aren't "official" ICIQ Seminars, those that are open to everyone are announced by email and anyone can attend.
