Following are a few general steps to use it:[edit]
step1: download the script
step2: move the dos_extract_v5.py to your ~/bin folder
step3: cd into your calculation directory
step4: run this script to get the dos information
step5: command: dos_extract_v5.py atoms orbitals out_put_file
