Health and well-being:

- For cough and sore throat: remedy 1) drink lemon juice with honey; remedy 2) chop/slice a clove of garlic and swallow it just before going to bed (Núria V) 3) slice carrots, put the thin slices into a glass or mug and cover them in honey, when the honey dilutes and looks "liquid", then take spoonfools of that liquid honey (Crisas' grandma's remedy)

-This is a really good drink for dehydratation, gastroenteritis, etc. and also for sore throat: 1 lemon (juice), a spoon of honey, and a pinch of baking soda (NaHCO3) and salt (NaCl) in one liter of water (Jaime G)

At work:

- Remember the 20 x 20 x 20 rule: take a rest from your PC screen every 20 minutes, blink 20 times while look at something that's about 20 feet away to give your eyes a rest, and... back to work! (Núria V)

Housekeeping:

- You can save money and help the environment if you use vinegar instead of pipe cleaning liquid or (washing machine) conditioner. (Núria V)

- To remove ink stains in clothes (made with a pen: bic, pilot,...). Put some milk in a bowl or glass and soak the stained whatever inside (the milk in contact with the stain), leave it for half a day to soak, and then wash it normally. If that does not work try the same with alcohol instead of milk. It is important to try removing the stain with milk first and then with alcohol, and don't even try if you've already washed the clothes "normally". (Maria)
