Postdoctoral research position: Quantum and statistical mechanics simulations of biosystems, WPI ITbM at Nagoya University, Japan

From April 2013, the institute seeks to fill two (2) open positions for postdoctoral research onresearch on quantum and statistical mechanics simulations of biosystems in the quantum chemistry group of Prof. Stephan Irle. The theoretical studies will be related to the two main points of the institute's interest: (a) photophysical properties and photochemical reactions in biosystems, and (b) free energy calculations of proteinsubstrate or protein/membrane binding. Collaboration with experimental groups is a key element for the theoretical research.
