BIBLIOGRAPHY: Our groups have bought quite a few books (see list here: File:INVENTARI DE LLIBRES GRUPS.pdf). You can use them in the lab, but if you need to take them home or you’re going to be using one for a long time in the lab, please fill in the form you’ll find in the bookcase. If you can’t find one of our books, on that form you can see who’s got it.

ICIQ also has an extensive bibliography database which you can check in the common folder "blibliography" in Q: There’s a printed copy on the notice board but you can also check it here: File:Bibliography ICIQ.pdf. If you want to borrow one of those books you have to see where it is and ask that group's secretary/group coordinator if you can borrow it.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: ICIQ provides a travel insurance for staff who has to travel to conferences, meetings etc. Please read the info here: File:PPRL-014 SEGURO VIAJE.pdf. You have to fill in this form: File:FORMULARI DE COMUNICACIÓ DE VIATGE.pdf and ask your boss to sign it, then you have to hand it in at the Security&Quality Dept (1st floor). Any insurance requests received with less than 48 hours notice won't be processed. If you travel abroad, you also have to send a email to both: lpedrol@iciq.es and mmartin@iciq.es explaining where you're going and how long for (ICIQ has to inform the Social Security Service that one of its workers will leave the country "on ICIQ business" and won't be at ICIQ between certain dates). 2 weeks' notice is advisable.

LANGUAGE CLASSES: ICIQ offers free language classes. If you're interested in taking Spanish, Catalan or English lessons ask Núria, the HR person responsible for organising the courses is Monica Martin (mmartin@iciq.es). Other language courses: EOI (Escuela Oficial de Idiomas) http://www.xtec.cat/eoitarragona/ang.htm and URV http://www.linguistic.urv.es/ (go to "Cursos").

ICIQ TRANSPORT SYSTEM: ICIQ Mini-Buses: there're buses from Tarragona train station and the AVE station (Camp) to ICIQ at 08:50 and 09:50 respectively. The buses from ICIQ to these stations leave at 18:40 (Tarragona) and 18:15 (Camp).
