STOPPING THE CLUSTER
Click on the first KVM key (beginning on the left). Press “space”. You will have access BETELGEUSE server console. Log in as root.
Go to “/root/stop” and execute “stop”.
After that execute “sync;sync;poweroff”. Wait until betelgeuse stops. Click on the 4th KVM key (beginning on the left. By pressing this key you get access to the KIMIK console.
Login using the root user.
Enter the directory “stop”.
Execute the command “disableQueues” to kill the running jobs and disable the queues. Execute the “stop-nodes” command.
Wait until this script print reads “all nodes have been requested to be down”. Click on the 6th KVM key and check that node (kimik040) has stopped, when it has, all the cluster is stopped. Switch off the kimik003 node and all the nodes of the third cluster. kimik046 to kimik069. Those nodes don't have automatic power off.
Now all nodes have been shut down.
Execute the command “stop-master” in the “stop” directory.
When KIMIK has shut down, press the second KVM key to get access to the sirius console. Login as root again.
Enter the directory “stop”, and execute the “stop” command.
Wait until sirius has finished the stopping process.
Press the 8th key.
Log in as root in the trinity server the KVM.
Execute the command :” sync;sync;poweroff”.
The last server is “aliga”. Press the third button of the KVM and log in to aliga.
Execute “sync;sync;poweroff”.
After that all the machines are down.
